QUICK UPDATE (07-19-07): A complete photoshoot called "A Day In The Studio With the Staggerin' Monks" is slowly being uploaded, to see the full set of 36 photos, head over to the myspace (linked below) and check out our images (as well as add us, or take a listen to the masterful melodies).

All photos shot on July 10th, 2007, by a close friend of the band who goes by the nickname Turk.

As of yesterday (01-20-07), the bands new studio just opened. We're calling it "The Monks Sanctuary" and it's for our future albums. We're also using it as a new source of income, charging local bands VERY little to come and do recording.

I also left in my journal entry from before, so that no one misses out on it:

The band's album just went on sale not too long ago. You should go pick it up. Nothing beats pure PunchYouInTheCrotch Rock. Just do it for the rocking dudes, cause they deserve it 210%.

I never update this journal, cause no one reads it, so I figure hey, at least come and let them know you just put out a full length cd.

Love from the monks and I,

Band's Live Show

Tue Jun 13, 2006, 10:00 AM
Not that anyone reads these things, but in the off chance you do, and you plan to be in the DFW area Saturday, July 29th, then you should come see my band play at Fat Daddy's Sound Shack. I personally do not like this place at all, but we have no choice, we have to play there as we are trying to build up a fan base, and well, everyone has to start somewhere.

ALSO! We will be filming part of the show for a music video, so make sure you show up so you can be in it. If you are bored on that day, or just want to be in a music video, then come out and see us play, its only 10 bucks.

A New Me..?

Fri Apr 7, 2006, 3:39 PM
So, I wrote a book, finished a complete band demo (now on sale no less), and learned a lot about myself in the process.

I've ended up doing some things I can never take back, and hurting everyone I love in the process. But all will be well in the end.

I'm writing a sequel to the book, and the demo cd is selling strong (already sold around 17 copies in 3 days. Here are a few links to whet your appetite:

A New Book..?

Tue Nov 8, 2005, 7:04 PM
Well, I have taken many projects under my wing now, and by many, I mean a good, umm, a good 4 projects, all of which are VERY in depth. Here I shall tell you about them:

Project 1: Birthday Guitar: Me and a few friends are rebuilding a guitar thats seen better days. I am lead luthier/electrician/technician. What we are doing is, stripping it to bare parts, rebuilding the floyd rose bridge, repainting the body to be a Dimebag Darrel Tribute, putting a Custom Made Judas Priest Razor Truss Rod Cover(dime fans get it) on it, and putting it back together better then new (new its about a 300-400 dollar esp (esp ltd m-155 if you want to look at the guitar itself to see what we are rebuilding), however, afterwards im projecting its worth at about 600-800 dollars :-D)

Project 2: New Book/Story: I am writing a new story, which is getting illustrated by ~oscinis . This is going to be an awesome story, and it actually will most likely end up in book form, for sale or for everyone to enjoy for free, havent decided yet. It all depends really.

Project 3: Game Engine: Me and ~oscinis are also working on a new game engine. Its still under the table writings and stuff, all planning and what not. It wont be near ready for a while, just one of our many side projects.

Project 4: Recording Studio/Demo CD: Yes I am a music producer also, the list of my awesomness goes on and on. Anyways, this one will be done by februaryish I hope. I should get all the stuff to finish the studio Feb. 20th (my bday) then the band will have the demo recorded sometime around then also. Along these lines I also have a show lined up for us in April (yes, long ways away), but its gunna pay awesome.

Anyways, I am a busy person, and hopefully you all have kept yourselves busy as well. Thats about it for me, goodbye everyone.
